Brief

Doordash launched in 2012 as a food delivery service. DoorDash offers on-demand delivery or pickup from restaurants and nearby grocery stores through a user friendly app.


Dash-o-Meter Description: 

  • Encourages DoorDash to provide accurate waiting time frames

  • Send updates to DoorDash account

    • Ex. “Arrived at the restaurant”, “Order has been picked up”, “On the way to drop-off order”

  • Report whether or not order was received late

    • If late, will receive a discount on next order based on exceeded time frame

    • Every 10 minutes it is late, they will receive $2 off their order.

  • Ensures that orders are promptly prepared and delivered with care

  • Convenience-seeking, tight-scheduled, tech-savvy, big-city residents
